Dreams Of Dr Sardonicus. Spirit (1970). This is Spirit's best album,

Can - Monster Movie
Can - Monster Movie (1969). Other great albums are Tago
Mago (1971), Ege
Bamyasi (1972), Future
Days (1973).
If you have not heard this groups music ,then you are really missing out.
This group has some of the most trippy, best psychedelic music I've
ever heard (especially Tago
Mago) This group is from Germany. They were an experimental/psychedelic/avant
garde group, and were considered to be the most experimental and adventurous
groups of the 70's. Listening to Can's music is a truly psychedelic experience! -Matt

4 Way Street - Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young 4
Way Street - Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. This
two album live set is a landmark in American music. An outstanding
collection of songs about love, hate, war and protest, it is the voice
of a generation seeking answers. The unsurpassed live vocal harmonies
make this work stand out. Released in 1971, it was updated in 1992
with four more cuts added.
This collection of 35 tunes on 2 cds encapsulates McCartney's musical genius. Tributes to John and George also round out this live compendium of concert recordings. If you love Paul, or just a Beatle fan, you can't miss this one.

Oar - Skip Spence Oar
- Skip Spence (1969) Skip Spence was the
original drummer for The Jefferson Airplane and the founder of Moby Grape.
Skip Spence was a visionary. Oar was released after Skip's departure from
Moby Grape, and Belleview Mental Hospital, where he was held for six months
after taking too much acid and trying to attack the Grape's drummer with
an axe. All the songs on this album were written while Skip was institutionalized.
The album is pretty much acoustic, with great songwriting (a great album
to listen to while your depressed). Skips lyrics are rather dark and sometimes
absurd. It is a good example of what was going on in Skip's head at the
time he recorded this album. This album is considered a masterpiece, and
Skip a visionary.

Freak Out! - Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention
Freak Out! - Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention.
The band's first album released in 1966 is still a monument to Zappa's
satirical anarchy. A good place to start with Zappa.
If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears - The Mamas & Papas If
You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears - The Mama's and Papa's.

of releases from Studio K7 famous for the quality of music being offered.
K & D did this in 1996, and it's a good example of the trance music

Forty Licks - The Rolling Stones Forty Licks - The Rolling Stones
Capitalizing on their immense catalog of hits, and the recent sucess of a similar Beatles compilation (see they're STILL copying the Beatles!), this two CD set again puts the Stones at the top of the charts!
Gleaning their most popular cuts from the early 60s to the 90s (mostly 60s-70s), this collection won't disappoint anyone, new or old fans alike. And with a bonus of four new tracks, cut just for this release, the Stones have yet another hit on their hands...

It's A Beautiful Day It's
A Beautiful Day - It's A Beautiful Day. This classic psychedelic album has become
very famous due to it's scarcity, and the feud between the artists and their manager. The best cut, "White Bird", is electric thanks to David
LaFlamme's violin. Other good tunes are "Hot Summer Day" and "Wasted
Union Blues".
Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
This incredible album still gets lots of play on the airwaves. Their mastery
of the electronic milieu is at its finest here. Today, as in 1973
this recording has messages for us all. For a taste of the Floyd live,
you must check out Pulse
available on CD and Video (VHS and laserdisk). Some of the tunes here are
better than the originals, and the video is outstanding.

Time Traveler - The Moody Blues
Time Traveler - The Moody Blues. This five
CD set covers the Moodies' extraordinary journey through time and innerspace,
from Days
of Future Past(1967) toKeys
to the Kingdom (1991). Fortunately, they managed to keep together
some of the more dramatic segues from their early albums. A must for those
who don't have all the albums yet.

Blue - Joni Mitchell
Blue - Joni Mitchell Released in 1971
this great album has Stephen Stills and James Taylor on some tracks.
From the love ballads here to jazz and rock Mitchell explores various styles
with her unique vocals. Her latest, Taming
the Tiger focuses on her jazz guitar and synth playing and is reminicent
of some of her best work.

DJ Kicks - Kid Loco DJ Kicks - Kid Loco Another from Studio K7. Kid Loco is many things,
but you might think he's listened to a lot of "Firesign Theater" from the
title track, "Don't You Know I'm Loco." Never boring, changing styles in
every song makes this a winner. An ambient/trip-hop/acid jazz audio trip.
Released 1999.

New Riders of the Purple Sage. This 1971 release includes backup
work by Jerry Garcia, Spencer Dryden, Mickey Hart and Commander Cody.
Their brand of mellow country/rock is highlighted in "Glendale Train"

Back In Town by George Carlin
Back In Town [EXPLICIT LYRICS] by George Carlin.
In his best album in many years, George is hip, sarcastic, irreverent and right
on! He is an acerbic critic of American society and values.

Forever Changes - Love
Forever Changes - Love (1967) This was Jim Morrison's favorite album.
This is truly a remarkable work. So much genius was put into this. This
album is just a good as Pet Sounds and Sgt Pepper, in my opinion, and just
as influential. The band's leader, Arthur Lee was a genius and visionary,
who wrote some of the best songs ever. This recording incorporates strings
into the music, just as Sgt. Pepper and Pet Sounds, for a far out psychedelic
sound! This is an awesome piece of psychedelic music, one of the best to
emerge from the 60's. This album is on many critics lists as being the
greatest album of all time. Today this album is considered to be a masterpiece,
and IT IS. - Matt

Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Bob
Dylan's Greatest Hits. In the early 60's Bob Dylan transformed
folk music into protest music with tunes like "Blowin' in the Wind"
and "The Times They Are A-Changin'". These songs influenced
a whole generation. Another great selection from 1966 is Blonde
on Blonde.
Abraxas - Santana
Abraxas - Santana (1970) "Black Magic Woman", "Oye Como Va" and "Hope
You're Feeling Better" are just some of the great cuts on this album.
Carlos Santana's guitar work is electric and the beat is sensual.
This mix of rockin' salsa is outstanding.

Like You".

Midnight Vultures - Beck
Midnight Vultures - Beck. Beck's latest recording
doesn't disappoint, in fact it's a masterpiece. His creative cross-genre
fertilization results in an innovative sound that spans folk, jazz, soul,
pop, hip-hop, blues, even country! The range of styles Beck covers
is awesome, especially since he does them well. Some
critics consider Beck's lyrics pointless, I would say they're somewhat
weak, but he delivers them with style. A testament to his overall
quality of work is the fact that everyone seems to really dig a different
tune from this well-crafted CD. For another great Beck CD, check
out his last hit, Odelay.
